Upon arriving in Berlin, we visited Tempelhof Airport, Checkpoint Charlie, and Reichsluftfahrtministerium.

During the Cold War, westerners could visit East Berlin by crossing Checkpoint Charlie.

Checkpoint Charlie Museum is a private museum filled with Cold War memorabilia and kitsch. It is a lot of fun to visit and worth the time.
