Churches in Bamberg

We took some pictures of Pfarrkirche Unsere Liebe Frau, and Bamberg Cathedral.

Bamberg is a divided city; the east side of the river is Secular, while the west side of the river is Ecclesiatical (where all the Churches are).

You won’t need transit. Just step off the train, start walking west, cross the Left Arm of the Regnitz river and you will be on the Churchie side of town.

Should Pfarrkirche Unsere Liebe Frau be described as Romanesque with Baroque Furnishing? I wish I was more qualified to say.

Bamberg Cathedral is definitely an imposing and impressive Romanesque Fortress.
