After returning to Regensburg from Walhalla, we visited Neupfarrkirche, Kollegiatstift unserer Lieben Frau zur alten Kapelle, and St Ulrich.

Neupfarrkirche Neupfarrplatz Regensburg

Neupfarrkirche in Neupfarrplatz, was originally intended to be a Pilgrimage Church, but was built at the beginning of the Reformation, and became Protestant.

Neupfarrplatz was a Jewish neighborhood until Jews were expelled in the early 16th Century.

Kollegiatstift unserer Lieben Frau zur alten Kapelle

Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady is a monastic Basilica inside of a structure which goes by the name Alte Kapelle, where a Roman Temple to Juno may have once stood.

Is is a Church for a Monastic Order, and the interior is Rococo.

Römerturm

Roman Tower may contain stones recycled from Roman Fortification Ruin, Regensburg being originally a Roman River Fort.

St Ulrich

Between Römerturm and Regensburg Cathedral, St Ulrich is a museum that was formerly a Parrish Church for the Cathedral. It is Gothic with buttresses and pointed arches.

St Ulrich was profaned in 1824, reconsecrated in 1986, and reprofaned in 2018.
