Like many great Gothic Churches in Europe, Regensburg Cathedral was built near the end of the Medieval Warm Period, which demonstrates how climate warming contributes to wealth and prosperity.
The architecture of Dreieinigkeitskirche, is early Baroque, but with a rib-less barrel ceiling supported only by the walls. The decorative elements of the ceiling are of molded burlap-glue composite because stucco would be too heavy.
It is a Lutheran Church built during the Thirty Years War.
