Pitti Palace

If I understand correctly, these are all paintings by Raphael. Directly above me is Madonna of the Canopy.


Boboli Gardens was originally designed for the Medici.
The obelisk comes from Temple of Ramses II in Egypt.


Oltrarno translates to beyond the Arno, as in the Arno River. Originally it would have been outside the city walls.
